I've copied this page from the live site to see if the red boxes appear for the Slices that are not on the staging site.

Ah! That did not work as expected. I'm curious to know what had driven this request as documents or slices would more than likely be removed from the page than deleted from the download library leaving an orphan document. Highlighting these would be more use.

If a document is being updated the old document would be over written with the same file name, so there is no need for this.
