Bank holiday opening times

Brixworth Household Waste Recycling Centre is open on bank holidays, except where these fall on the centre's closed days (Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

The site will be closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day, and will close at 2pm on Christmas Eve (depending on which day Christmas Eve falls on).

Restrictions

Vans and trailers

Vehicles are restricted to a maximum weight limit of 3.5 tonnes.

All commercial-type vehicles (including hired) need an e-permit to access the site. Find out more and apply for a free waste e-permit.

Site does not accept trade waste

Small scale traders can recycle certain waste types, or dispose of general waste at a competitive price at some of our sites using our trade waste service.

Pedestrians

We are currently unable to accept pedestrian access to any of the sites.

Compost

For sale at this site for £3.75 per 25 litre bag.
