Disaggregation of country parks
North Northamptonshire Council (NNC) and West Northamptonshire Council (WNC) have now split responsibility for the running and management of Northamptonshire's country parks.

Our commemorative items give the chance to commemorate a person or event, or celebrate a major milestone in life at one of our much-loved parks.
We currently offer a range of options to suit different styles and budgets, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
What we can offer
We offer:
- bequest and donation opportunities
- bench with plaque or engraving
- picnic table with plaque or engraving
- tree planting at Daventry Country Park or Borough Hill
- permission to scatter ashes (not available at all parks)
Benches and picnic tables
We offer a variety of styles to suit different needs and budgets including metal, recycled plastic and teak wooden benches. Benches and picnic tables can have a plaque or be engraved.
Tree planting
We can offer a variety of native trees to be planted at Daventry Country Park or Borough Hill. Tree memorials are only available between November and March.
Bequests and donations
We can accept donations or bequests towards the general betterment of a particular country park and would discuss with you how this money could be used.
A bequest or donation could make your loved one not only a part of the park’s history, but also part of its future.
Whether £10 or £10,000, all donations will be used to make a park a better place; for example, by conserving wildlife habitats, or contributing towards new facilities.
