We are working closely with both Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals, funeral directors, crematoriums and cemeteries across the county, to respond to the impacts of COVID-19.

In order to support capacity at both Northampton and Kettering General Hospitals, a temporary storage facility has been opened on Hardwater Road, Wollaston.

While we would never have wished to be in a position to have to use the site, we wanted to do all we can to ensure that all county residents' loved ones continue to be cared for with sensitivity and dignity.

Operating hours

This facility is currently closed.

The current demand across the county means the use of the Hardwater Road facility is not currently required. During this downtime, we have taken the decision to conduct some development works, should we need to make use of the site in the future.
